The investor is the user sponsoring the listed projects. This profile type allows you to create an investment firm profile that allows you to add any fund that may be tied to your firm. The published funds are visible to all the users of the platform who would be able to apply for them and get the appropriate funding for their project.
Project Sponsorship
Any project with the tag ‘looking for sponsors’ is available to be sponsored. An invite can be sent to the project owner by specifying how much you would like to invest in the project.
Once your invite has been accepted by the project owner, you will be listed among the sponsors of the projects.
Neither you nor the project owner can remove the added sponsors. You will have to contact us for updating your projects as this operation may involve legal obligations.
How much can I invest in the project?
When submitting an invite to the project owner, you can choose the following ranges to specify how much you may be willing to invest in the project:
- 0 - 1000
- 1001 - 5000
- 5001 - More
The currency tied to the above ranges can be selected in the invite dialog box.
It is up to you to discuss the exact amount with the user through direct messages
Investment Firm Profile
The investment firm profile is the profile tied to your business as an investor. The information displayed on your investment firm profile are:
- The description of your firm
- The list of members tied to your firm profile
- The funds offered by your firm
When you do not create a firm profile on the platform, you are marked as an independent investor. But you are still allowed to create a merchant profile later on.
However, when you create an investment firm profile, you will have to delete your vos-projets account and create a new vos-projets profile to be marked as an independent investor. This operation is destructive as any existing fund tied to your investment firm is deleted. Therefore, be certain before creating a merchant profile during your account setup.
Note that the list of sponsors tied to a project can only be edited by the admins of the web application. If your project needs to be edited, contact us and will provide you with the necessary assistance
Add team members to your investment firm profile
A team member is any user with the profile type ‘investor’ that has indicated that its profile is tied to your investment firm profile. You can approve that user from the list of team members in your investment firm panel.
Therefore for adding a team member, you will have to indicate to the user to select your investment firm profile in the suggestions displayed by the field Current Investment Firm of its vos-projets profile.
Note that the user must be of the profile type Investor.
Once a user has been approved, he/she will be able to sponsor projects on behalf of your investment firm profile and the sponsored projects will appear under the profile of your investment firm profile as well as his/her own profile.
Investment firm fund
An investment firm fund is an available fund ready to be invested in a project. The users of the platform can view your profile and the related funds; and they will be able to apply for your funds based on the specified requirements.
A investment firm fund includes the following information:
- A name: The name of the fund.
- The application start date and the application end date: The start date is the date when the application is considered open; and the closing date is the date when the end date is the date when the application is considered closed.
- The description of the fund
- The application URL
The application URL redirects the users to your dedicated website.
How can I apply for a job?
- Under the projects area, click on the tab “Browse Jobs”.
- From that view, the jobs can be browsed based on the following criteria:
- Job title
- Company name
- Minimum salary
- Maximum salary
- Salary currency
- City
- Country code
- Click on one of the retrieved jobs and click on the button ‘apply’ to apply for the job position.
How can I manage my job applications?
- Your job applications can be managed from your buyer panel under the tab “Your Job Applications”.
- For each job application, a table with the information of your job application is displayed as shown in the above image.
- You can perform the following actions
- View the feedback received from the employer
- Request feedback from the employer
- Withdraw your job application if the job application is open. For record purposes, your application cannot be withdrawn if the job position is closed.
- A rank and the rank decision deadline is the information provided by the employer regarding your job application. Read more.

The Investor Panel
The following tabs are available in your buyer panel:
- Sponsored projects: where the projects sponsored by your profile can be viewed.
- Firm information: where you can edit the information tied to your investment firm profile.
This tab includes the following tabs if you are independent:
- Browse firms: where you can search for the registered investment firms of the platform and assign one of them to your profile.
- Add new firm: where you can create a new investment firm profile on the platform.
This tab includes the following tabs if you are not independent:
Investment firm information: where the investment firm name, the investment firm description, the investment firm profile picture and the investment firm banner image can be updated.
Members: where you can view any user that has indicated that he/she is tied to your investment firm profile.
Funds: The funds tied to your investment firm profile can be viewed, added and updated from this tab.
Saved Jobs: where you can view the jobs that you have saved.
Saved Projects: where you can view the projects that you have saved.
Your Job Applications: where you can view the status of the job applications submitted by your profile.
